Old Orchard Beach/Saco Adult and Community Education is committed to the philosophy of lifelong learning for all members of both communities. We will develop and implement programs that address the evolving needs of our community and provide opportunities for individuals of many ages to interact in pursuit of their educational, vocational and avocational goals.

Description:
We will encourage and provide opportunities for:
-acquiring basic skills in literacy and/or life-coping skills.
-completing a high school credential.
-exploration and improving vocational skills which lead to employment opportunities.
-developing new avocational interests
-preparing for formal education

A learner-centered atmosphere that stimulates self-motivated educational opportunities. Access to a variety of learning opportunities. Cooperative learning ventures and networking agencies within our area. The ultimate aim of OOB/Saco Adult & Community Education is to establish opportunities to improve the quality of life for all citizens.
