Holland Museum

The Trust is a catalyst for a dynamic interaction of the past and present that enriches the Holland area. By collecting, preserving and communicating what has been, the Trust focuses the power of the past to shape the future. Its educational facilities and collections are representative of a diverse heritage and are accessible to all.

Description:
The Holland Museum and Cappon and Settlers House Museums exhibit the history of Holland. The Cappon House is the Victorian home of Holland's first mayor. The Museum offers the first floor gallery as a study of Holland's history. The second floor is a wonderful exhibit of Dutch art and artifacts. We also have an extensive archives open to the public. We use volunteers in a number of positions. There are volunteer opportunities for docents, education docents, guides, hospitality, program assistants, handymen, archives and collections. It is possible to volunteer as much as your schedule allows. Some training is involved and these hours do count toward your volunteer hours. Please feel free to join us at a monthly training.Attendance does not commit you to volunteering.
