The mission of the Boys & Girls Club Circle of Hope Mentoring Program is to focus on the unique needs of children of prisoners, empowering them, through one-to-one mentoring, to make positive life choices.
Description:
The Circle of Hope Mentoring Program is a partnership between the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee and the Kenosha community.
The program has been in operation since 2004. We are always looking for special volunteers who are able to make at a 1-hour a week commitment to a youth for at least one year. The benefits for the children are great. Youth who are served by this program show a reduction in drug and alcohol use, improved school performance and attendance, reduced incidences of violence, and improved self confidence.
