The GOAL:
To interrupt and decrease the spread of HIV and Hepatitis C and to provide care and services to individuals infected and affected by those diseases.
Description:
ACORN is a comprehensive and professional AIDS service organization that has supported hundreds of HIV positive people and their affected family members. We provide care management of HIV positive individuals and families (case management, support groups, assistance with transportation to medical appointments, and emergency financial help for housing, food, clothing and medical needs, etc), HIV and HEP C testing and education at local treatment facilities, social service agencies, shelters, Dartmouth College and local schools.
ACORN services are free of charge and available to anyone living in Grafton, Sullivan, Coos and Carroll Counties in New Hampshire and Windsor and Orange Counties of Vermont.
