Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's mission is to provide a heritage railroad experience within the Ohio and Erie Canal National Heritage Corridor and provide alternative transportation to and within Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Description:
CVSR is one of the oldest, longest and most scenic excursion railways in the country. It is a private sector, volunteer supported, not-for-profit organization operating in partnership with Cuyahoga Valley National Park and dedicated to the preservation of passenger rail transportation over 51 miles of track stretching from Independence, just below Cleveland, to Akron and Canton.
