Xenophon is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children with special needs by providing a high quality program of therapeutic horseback riding and related activities.
Description:
We work with children between the ages of 5 and 17, who have a variety of physical and cognitive disabilities. I'm a student and was looking for a volunteer oportunity with horses. The program is well-run, the horses are happy and welll-trained, and the kids are a pleasure to work with. This is an excellent opportunity for fit volunteers who enjoy the outdoors and working with animals.
