To provide the youth of Wayne County with positive adult influences in their lives. The mentors serve as positive role models through communication, encouraging, and building a trusting relationship with a Wayne County youth.
Training is provided,and you must be able to be active with the mentee participating in activities at the YMCA and field trips such as attending baseballs games, swimming, hiking, skating, ect... Additional volunteer opportunities are available such as preparation of the Warm Hearts Dance and other special events.
