FINANCIAL STABILITY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN – a.k.a. – Bank Brigade, Mall Crawl, Big Box Hop, Employment/Temporary Agency Blitz, Main Street Stroll

Volunteer groups will help Somerset County United Way get the word out about various opportunities and services to enhance the financial stability of community members, employees, and clients of each location targeted. Groups will share materials including: tax preparation flyers, posters, payroll stuffers, palm cards, as well as financial education opportunities and Somerset Saves materials.

Targeted areas: banks, the Bridgewater Commons Mall stores, local downtown stores/restaurants (Somerville, Bound Brook, South Bound Brook, Manville, Raritan), employment and temporary companies, large box stores (Target, Wal-Mart, Bed Bath & Beyond, K-Mart, Costco, BJ’s, Lowe’s, Home Depot).

 My son and I met and worked with very nice people who made this first sorting experience pleasant. We also felt good about what we did and would definitely do it again.
