Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The WiderNet Project will be hosting a Volunteer Workday on Saturday, December 12th, from 9am-3pm.
Volunteers are invited to come help us with various projects on this day. Whether you have an hour to spare or 6, we would love the help!

Volunteers do not need to have any technical experience - we will provide training and be here the whole time to answer questions.
Volunteer hours can go towards 10,000 Hours Show, silver cord, or other service award organization, please just let us know where to verify your hours.

The WiderNet Project is located on the University of Iowa Campus on Madison Ave, directly across from the UI Main Library. Here's a map: http://www.uiowa.edu/%7Emaps/c/cc1.htm PARKING: You can park your car at the Main Library's parking lot (just south of the Main Library) or in the parking ramp located at Clinton and Burlington. The WiderNet Project's Offices are at 201 Communications Center. This is the north east corner of the second floor. Signs are posted and there are stairs at either end of the building. There is also an elevator in the center of the building.   Nearest Bus Stop: Old Capitol Mall, 1 minute walk
