Our after-school program need homework buddies and tutors for 4th and 5th grade students. Volunteers help students with homework and tutor them on basic math skills as well as read with students.
Volunteers normally work with the same students each day and develop strong relationships with these students!
Volunteers must be current high school or college students or college graduates. They must also be able to commit to a minimum of 1.5 hours at least 1 day per week for 3 months. Volunteers are needed Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 and Wednesdays from 1:30-4:30 Training is provided.
