Volunteer Opportunity Details:

As members of the Challenger Learning Center® Flight Crew, volunteers assist mission participants on simulated space adventures, complete with mission control and spacecraft! Volunteers will support the Mission Commander and Flight Director in facilitating a variety of space scenarios including: Rendezvous with a Comet, Rendezvous with Comet Halley, Voyage to Mars and Return to the Moon.

Intensive training and flight time requirements. Volunteers will be required to dress in a flight jacket or flight suit at all times when interacting with the public. You must enjoy interacting with participants "in character" and be able to function well as part of a team. To attend our next adult orientation, please RSVP on our website.
