Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on November 24, 2009

Description: WNYCPC is requesting volunteers from area businesses, agencies, community groups, churches and schools to provide gifts to be utilized for the various Facility's Holiday Parties and to be given by our Santa on Christmas Day for our children, adolescents, and their families during the month of December. In addition, to provide families with gifts for their children that they could not otherwise afford (siblings included). The helpers will help to provide gifts for the families, for the children who do not have families and the children and families from our community services programs. The interested volunteer(s) can select a program or family to assist during this special time.

Requirement: Volunteer contributors should be compassionate to children, and adolescents, and their families who experience mental illness.

A caring heart is needed. One person could do this, as well as one family, or the members of a group. The number of individuals participating does not matter.
