Description:
We offer work skills training programs, supported employment, residential, respite, and recreational services to adults with disabilities in DeKalb County.

History:
We were incorporated in 1963. We started our as a sheltered workshop, located at the old South School in Sycamore. In 1967 we moved our operation to our present location at 202 Lucas St., Sycamore and purchased the building in 1972. We bought a house and began offering residential services in 1969. In 1971 we began offering Developmental Training Services. We were first accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in 1978 and have been accredited since then. We have grown over the he years to include supported employment, recreation, respite, and 6 group homes to the programs and services we offer.
