Crisis Hotline Intervention is the toughest job at Safe Passage. The person in this position deals with clients and victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, calling in for emotional support, referrals to resources as well as help to leave the situation.
In this position volunteers will be working with crisis calls from callers in crisis situations. While many of the calls that come into the hotline are not crisis calls, they are important. Many of the hotline calls are often clients looking to make an appointment with staff or for a myriad of purposes.
