Looking for reliable volunteers in the DeKalb area who would like to learn about the care and training of parrots in a hands-on environment. No experience necessary, but you shouldn't be intimidated by beaks! The position is for one or two days a week, during the daytime hours. Cleaning cages, preparing and feeding the birds, giving showers, exercise and love are what's involved. Interested? Call Sandi at 815-384-3170. A minimum of three volunteer shifts will be supervised. There is frequent bending required and you will be working in a very noisy environment. This opportunity is sponsored by: A Place To Call Home Parrot Rescue And Adoptions
