Every classroom at Children's Learning Center has daily activities that include music, art, outdoor play, dramatic play, block play, etc. Volunteering to participate in an activity is helpful to the teachers and the children. There are opportunities to develop lasting relationships with young children while assisting the teachers in carrying out the daily plan. Regular classroom volunteers are required to have a volunteer application with three reference signatures, a current healthcare provider signed and dated health clearance (dated within the past 6 months) a two-step (Mantoux) TB skin test and a Background Authorization/clearance through a DCFS approved fingerprinting agency.
