The goal of A Woman's Concern is to reflect the love of Christ by providing alternatives to abortion through support, education and practical assistance to those in need, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their lives and the lives of their unborn children.
Description:
A Woman's Concern is a pregnancy resource medical center which provides confidential counseling to women for pregnancy options, including parenting, adoption and abortion education. A Woman's Concern provides limited medical services to its clients, as well as practical assistance, abstinence education, parenting programs, while offering ongoing friendship and support.
History:
A Woman's Concern began as Birthright of Lancaster in 1972 to offer women an alternative to abortion. After disaffiliating with Birthright in 1995, we became Heart to Heart Pregnancy Center. However, after our conversion to a pregnancy resource medical center in November, 2000, we changed our name to A Woman's Concern to reflect our expansion of services.
