RSVP is the advocate for retired and senior volunteers who want to make a difference not only in their life, but in the lives of others.

Description:
Locally, RSVP is a program sponsored by the American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley. RSVP recruits and places retired and senior individuals in various volunteer positions throughout the Lancaster-Lebanon County area. RSVP serves approximately 250 community organizations with over 1000 volunteers.

History:
RSVP was created in the early 1970s in response to problems plaguing communities across the nation. Today, more than 450,000 RSVP volunteers (Nationally) bring a diverse range of experience and expertise to the community through their service.
