Creative, energetic, and artistic people are invited to facilitate "First Friday for Families." The library opens its gallery to the public on the First Friday of the month with a focus on offering an event specifically for families. The group of individuals will help suggest artists, do publicity, plan craft activities and programs for the event, coordinate food and publicity. The group will work with the Friends of the Lancaster Public Library and the library staff to sponsor this new exciting event.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Lancaster Public Library

The Lancaster Public Library is located at 125 N. Duke Street near the intersection of Duke and Chestnut Steet in Lancaster City. There is a parking lot located at the back of the library. Proceed on Chestnut Street and cross the intersection of Duke and Chestnut. Turn right at the next alley called Cherry Street and then left into the library parking lot where meters are provided.
