PAI's mission is to provide those supports necessary to enable people with mental retardation to live as independently and fully as they desire within the community. PAI has an Adult Day Services programs and 22 Residential homes throughout Lancaster County. We are looking for groups of volunteers that would be interested in adopting a home and providing basic repairs and maintenance for a year. It is the goal of PAI to have a group visit their adopted home 2-4 times a year fro weeding, mulching, painting, and other basic repairs. PAI provides all supplies and will meet with the group coordinator before each visit to discuss the specifics of requested tasks.
