The mission of Third Street Alliance for Women & Children is to improve the quality of life for members of the community, with special emphasis on women and children. In support of this, we provide services to meet the basic needs of individuals and families and provide tools to promote personal development, responsibility and citizenship.

Description:
Third Street Alliance offers a wide variety of services to the surrounding communities. We have a nationally accredited, Pennsylvania 4 Star child care center which serves children from the ages of 12 months to 12 years. We also have an adult day center for older adults suffering from the effects of Alzheimer's, stroke, or other dememtia-related ailments. We have an aquatics and recreation program which offers swimming instruction to children and adults, martial arts for all ages, and specialized aquatics classes for seniors. This program also offers recreational and family swimming. Our gymnasium and pool are available for rentals to groups and/or individuals. All of these programs are available to the men, women, and children of our local communities. Finally, Third Street Alliance offers shelter to homeless women and children, with various support services and programs in place to help them gain self-sufficiency.
