Wesley Enhanced Living at Heritage Towers embraces a philosophy which enhances each individual resident's mind, body and spirit through out the continuum of care. It is our goal to have our residents live life at their maximum level of functioning and independence.
Description:
Here at Heritage Towers, we provide several levels of care, including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Care. We seek to attract volunteers committed to doing the right thing – in recognizing and fulfilling our responsibilities to our mission, each other and the broader community with: Grace - a spirit of acceptance, kindness and compassion Honor – a sense of uncompromising honesty and trustworthiness Integrity – a commitment to moral and ethical principles Volunteers will work closely with the residents one-on-one or in groups. All our volunteers are fully trained to make their time and experience with us as safe and satisfying as possible. We use our volunteers to transport residents to in-house physical therapy appointments, beauty salon appointments, and activities throughout our facility. In addition, some of our volunteers spend time with the residents playing board or card games, reading to residents, and even visiting. Volunteers work with the activities staff on additional activities such as seated exercise, bingo, “chats”, trips, and special events. At WEL at Heritage Towers, our mission is to make a compelling difference in the lives of our residents through providing excellence and innovation in aging services. Our residents are our priority but our volunteers are key!
