Overall Experience
This has been an excellent opportunity to talk with people about an important community resource.

America On Wheels, a museum dedicated to over-the-road transportation in America, is under development and will open in Allentown next year. I learned about AOW shortly after moving to the area in 2002, and became a volunteer as soon as I could. Over-the-road transportation has played a pivotal role in shaping our nation and our culture, particularly in the 20th century. I believe AOW will be an important asset to the Lehigh Valley, and I have greatly enjoyed meeting people and informing them about AOW and what it will offer to our community. posted by jkclassics on September 15, 2006 |
