Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley

St. Luke’s Neighborhood Center is a community neighborhood center open to and supported by the general public, in order to provide facilities, programs and services to individuals and families in the urban environment surrounding the Center, populated by many low income and minority residents; to enhance and build relationships between individuals, neighborhoods and communities. All individuals and families shall be served without regard to race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age or national origin.

Description:
For the past few years we have continued to work with the children in the Allentown School District. St. Luke’s Neighborhood Center continues to be a bridge between the elementary and middle schools children. This is an on going progress with the schools and the neighborhood center. We continue to add positive programming - educationally, artistically, socially, and developmentally in an ongoing effort to lower dropout rates, to increase the students’ awareness of the importance of their education and to make better life choices. All of these programs are free to the students within the Allentown School District.
