The mission of Phoebe Home, an institution related to the United Church of Christ, is to provide personalized care suitable to the individual needs of our aging residents in a home-like atmosphere. Our conscientious employees and volunteers respect the dignity, integrity, and privacy of our residents. At the heart of our caring ministry is our concern for each resident's spiritual, emotional, social, and physical well-being.

Description:
Phoebe Home Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the David Miller Assisted Living Community, located in the west end of Allentown, is home to 450 residents. Various levels of care include: skilled, intermediate, Alzheimer's/dementia, short-term rehabilitation and assisted living. The residents range in age from 60's to 100+. An assortment of domestic and tropical birds, several cats and aquariums of beautiful fish help to create a home-like atmosphere. Residents engage in indoor and outdoor gardening activities and regularly entertain children of all ages. The grounds of the Home are lush with evergreens and beautiful plants. A gazebo and the Phoebe Friendship boat (an ark-like wooden play structure) welcome family members and visitors of all ages!
