Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley

The Lehigh County Conference of Churches in partnership with Community In Schools is starting a new program - VIP. Very Important Parents (VIP)goal is to provide pregnant and parenting teens with resources while encouraging them to complete their education. VIP will also increase their competency as parents and help them to develop skills for independence. Mentors will work one-on-one and in group settings with the teens. VIP starts Oct 22, 2008 and runs for 21 weeks with breaks every seven weeks and takes place on Weds 5pm-8pm.

We are looking for mentors who are parents themselves and are 25 years old or older.

Training will be provided.
