Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Would you like to experience genuine Christmas spirit? Do you enjoy people? Are you outgoing, friendly? This is the opportunity for you! The Salvation Army kettle - familiar nationally for over 100 years - is enhanced by happy volunteers ringing the Salvation Army bell all over the Bethlehem area at downtown stores and area shopping centers. This opportunity is even more meaningful when shared with a friend, family member, or service organization member. The funds raised through the efforts of Bell Ringers enables the Salvation Army to help families, single people, homeless people, people experienced the current financial crunch, not only at Christmas but all year long.

There is an orientation for all volunteers. All opportunities are at outside stores and require the ability to withstand cold temperatures. However, training on WHAT NOT TO WEAR and more importantly WHAT TO WEAR will dissipate the chills!
