History:
Fitzsimmons Communications was established in 2003, by Kate Fitzsimmons to assist organizations to meet their fundraising and communication goals. After spending more than twenty years working in the nonprofit, corporate and small business sectors she decided to devote her time to working with organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life in Bay Area communities.

She served for three years as a Development Director for an East Bay nonprofit, with a budget of over two million dollars. She also worked as a Contributing Editor to The San Francisco Review of Books and Maiden Voyages magazines. Her freelance journalism and photography assignments have appeared in local and national publications. She brings both a solid business sense and a passion for effective communication to her role as writer and consultant.
