The PRC is a CA State licensed community clinic serving women ages 12+ who are facing an unexpected or unplanned pregnancy. We serve all women who are either without insurance, low income or who need prenatal care. Our slogan is "Putting compassion for Life into Action".
Description:
The only free prenatal clinic in Marin County. Every woman is welcome to come to our clinic for medical care. Ultrasounds are done in the clinic for pregnancy verification only. We see women until the 28th week of pregnancy. Adoption plans are encouraged for those who do not feel they can parent despite being pregnant. We offer Lamaze Classes, Teen Parenting classes, chiropractic care for those who are pregnant, Health Educators for schools and clubs, and have maternity and infant clothing and furnishings for those in need.
History:
We have been in Novato since 1987 serving women and their families for no cost, confidential services. Our volunteers are highly trained individuals who care about women. We are in need of RNs, and ob-gyns. Midwives and nurse practitioners are also volunteers we use regularly.
