Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on July 2, 2009 |
Angel Island State Park offers several unique events on and off the island each year. Some of our most popular are: Civil War Days, Victorian Christmas, Historic House Tours, Earth Day, the Western Days Parade in Pt. Reyes Station and the Tiburon-Belvedere Labor Day Parade. The office of the Volunteer Coordinator is accepting applications for event planning, pre-event set-up, post-event clean up, costumed participants and behind the scenes support. This is a fun and exciting opportunity to provide the public with educational and entertaining events. Play a part in the Union Encampment, Victorian Christmas or march in a parade in period costume.
All volunteers are required to attend a half-day orientation. This opportunity is sponsored by: Angel Island State Park
