Put together the meals that heal! Business Volunteer Council Youth Groups Families Court Appointed Member Agency Master Volunteer Program of Marin

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on July 3, 2009

Meals of Marin is 96% volunteer driven. We provide approximately 350 meals every day to people battling AIDS, breast cancer, other cancers and other critical illnesses. We often provide food for our clients' loved ones as well, most often for their under age children. With this we help bring a sense of balance and "normalcy" back into their lives that have been turned upside-down by their illness.

We need volunteers every day of the year (holidays included!) to put together nutritious, tasty meals for our clients. Four volunteers fit perfectly into our kitchen, and make the world go round for a lot of people that need our help. Shifts are from 9-12 and 12-3.

Just the willingness to pitch in where needed, learn, and have a good time knowing you are making a huge difference in someone else's life.
