Marin Brain Injury Network is a small but vital organization that offers an array of therapeutic programs for adult survivors of acquired brain injury. One of our participants commented - "I travel 4 hours per day to come to MBIN because there is nowhere like it on Earth!" Our programs are unique - offering holistic rehabilitative program planning to support healing and increased functioning of our participant's physical, emotional, cognitive, social and artistic abilities. It is a lively, expressive, therapeutic place to be and working with the participant's of our programs is a gift. The staff are educated, committed to their work and fun to be around. This current position focuses on providing support for the program staff and the executive director by answering phones, greeting guests and assisting with overall administrative tasks of the organization. There is room to mold this position to fit your interests and skills. You will be directly involved with participants which adds to the enjoyment of this role. If you are interested, please contact Patricia Gill, current executive director, to schedule a time to visit our beautiful site and meet the group.
The most important requirement is to be comfortable working around people with disabilities. Other requirements include basic proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel (Access and Photoshop skills are a bonus), nice phone manner, enjoys being part of a team and chatting with participant's.
