Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are looking for an intern on a flexible schedule of approximately 4-10 hours per week, on and off between now and October to assist us in collecting contact and organizational profile information on about 700 Marin-based nonprofits. The research will include Internet searches and phone interviews. The ideal candidate may also be asked to participate in information analysis and synthesis for the final report. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in working in the local nonprofit sector to learn more about the major organizations.

Must be a detail-oriented person interested in data collection and able to work independently once given directions. Knowledge of Internet search engines and basic Excel spreadsheets is a MUST. A knowledge of, or experience with, FileMaker Pro database system a plus; an interest/knowledge in commercial real estate would be helpful.
