An administrative volunteer position offers the opportunity to "give back" or serve our hospice agency in a meaningful way without involvement in direct patient-care related duties. Valuable skills often sought in an administrative volunteer are computer experience, phone skills, filing/sorting/copying, organizing, and general office work. Volunteers can "give back" by working in the Volunteer Services Office or various other agency departments such as Community Relations, Admissions, Patient Care Support, Facilities, and Provider Relations. Volunteers complete an application, interview, background check, and attend an agency orientation. A volunteer will specifically train with a staff member in the department they are assigned. It is preferred that a volunteer give regular or weekly volunteer service in the position for at least one year.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Hospice By The Bay
