Action services include: Advocacy and Housing; ViTA tax program; Compass Youth Program; Elder HomeCare; Energy affordability programs including Fuel Assistance, Weatherization and Conservation; Emergency Homeless Shelter; and Employment, Training and Education programs.

Action has been providing human services for Greater Cape Ann since 1965. Action serves Gloucester, Ipswich, Rockport, Essex, and Manchester-by-the-Sea. Action's main offices are in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
