Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on October 29, 2009

Ethos is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services to elders while promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. We are looking for volunteers who can help out as medical escorts.

Many of the elders we serve are isolated and live alone. Going to the doctor alone can be a scary experience, both physically and emotionally. Medical escorts provide much needed support and many of our clients refuse to go to the doctor without one!

Ethos will typically provide transportation and so you don't need to be a driver to help out! Your name will be added to our list and when an appointment comes up, you will be called to see if you are available.

All of our volunteers complete an application and CORI background check. We look for people who are dedicated to help the elderly and who have big hearts and open minds.
