Commonwealth Land Trust serves a multi-cultural, very-low income, formerly homeless population, through the creation and preservation of affordable, subsidized, supportive housing. Our residents may be disabled, HIV positive, recovering from or struggling with addictions issues and/or mental illness. We have housing for both extremely low-income individuals and low-income families. If you'd like to see us in action, there are several video clips on line where we're featured. Check out this video that the Governor's Office created to recap the first year of the Commonwealth Corps program (Commonwealth Land Trust is featured!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiTC84pI6Vo And a speech delivered by our President supporting the Commonwealth Corps program: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WkUytwK4rI Last, a tour of one of our flagship programs: http://www.fhlbboston.com/communitydevelopment/onsite/onsite_2/bowdoin.jsp People like you are a constant inspiration to us in our work, and make it possible for us to do much more than we otherwise could towards our mission of helping others live better lives.
