The Food Bank is looking for volunteers to conduct research related to upcoming special events to include potential sponsors, attendees, donations and donors. Sample events include: Bi-annual gala, upcoming Hunger Summit, annual check out hunger program and cycling events; if comfortable, potentially generate sponsorships and interest in event; potential assistance with event organizing. Candidates will work mainly in Hatfield, with occasional travel (mileage reimbursement available). Seeking candidates with short and long term availability (15-20 hours/week or 7 hours/day). Directions to The Food Bank
Come visit us! The Food Bank is located at 97 North Hatfield Road in Hatfield, Mass.
Traveling North: Take Interstate 91 North to exit 22 (North Hatfield). Bear right onto Routes 5 & 10 North. Travel 1 mile and turn right onto North Hatfield Road (immediately after “Hatfield Pub” there is a red sign with a beer glass on it). The Food Bank is 1 mile up the road on the right.
Traveling South: Take Interstate 91 South to exit 23 (Whately). Turn left onto Routes 5 & 10 South toward Hatfield for 1.6 miles. Turn left onto North Hatfield Road (immediately before the “Hatfield Pub” with a red sign that has a beer glass on it). The Food Bank is 1 mile up the road, on the right.
From Amherst: Take Route 116 to Whately. Take left onto Routes 5 & 10 South for about 4 miles. Take left onto North Hatfield Road (immediately before the “Hatfield Pub” with a red sign that has a beer glass on it). The Food Bank is 1 mile up the road, on the right.
From Amherst Center: Take Route 9, crossing over the Coolidge Bridge. Take right after the bridge onto Damon Road. Take right onto Routes 5 & 10 and immediately turn right onto Interstate 91 to exit 22 (North Hatfield). Bear right onto Routes 5 & 10 North. Travel 1 mile and turn right onto North Hatfield Road (immediately after “Hatfield Pub” that has a red sign with a beer glass on it). The Food Bank is 1 mile up the road on the right.
