Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to help with our Adaptive Aquatics program. This is an educational, hands-on experience in which the volunteer works directly with a child (age 3-12), who has a developmental disability, to feel comfortable in the water, to exercise, to learn basic swimming skills and to have fun! Six-week sessions are held from September-June, weekdays, late in the afternoon.

Locations are The Burbank YMCA in Reading and The Malden YMCA.

Must feel comfortable in the pool, enjoy children, be flexible and have patience! Training is provided.
