The Independent Transportation Network (ITN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping our senior community members with their transportation needs.
Description:
ITNPortland uses private automobiles to transport people 60 and older, and the visually impaired, anywhere within a 15 mile radius of Portland. ITN is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering customers the maximum in choice and freedom through paid and volunteer drivers. ITN offers dignified transportation to seniors - and peace of mind to their families.

History:
The ITN has been providing quality service since 1995. Research and development of the ITN has been made possible with support from the AARP, the Transportation Research Board, the Federal Transit Administration, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the Great Bay Foundation.
