Christmas Program Volunteers

Each year the Maine Children's home distributes packages to disadvantaged children ages infants through 12, throughout the central Maine area. Over 300 volunteers are needed to make this holiday brighter for the children we serve. Our volunteers help by handling phone calls, doing data entry, packing boxes, carrying boxes, inventorying items, checking boxes, and some heavy lifting.

Brief in-house training required.

Directions:
 From the North- Take I-95 to exit 127 go down ramp, take a left onto Kennedy Memorial Drive, continue straight through 6 sets of lights. You will pass Mardens, Inland Hospital, Auto Zone, Hannaford. This street then bears to the left. You will see Gifford's Ice Cream on your right. You are now on Silver Street. Continue straight about 1/2 mile to The Maine Children's Home on the left. From the South - Take exit 127 off I-95 turn right onto Kennedy Memorial Drive. From here follow the directions from the North.
