What do snow shoeing, nordic skiing, data collection and speed calculations have in common? WinterKids!  WinterKids is the nonprofit organization committed to helping children develop healthy lifelong habits through fun, outdoor winter activity.  WinterKids administers a variety of programs that not only expose children to healthy winter activities but also incorporates lessons that support K-12 curriculum. WinterKids will be represented at the L.L. Bean Fall Sports Weekend.  They need your assistance in spreading the mission, values and opportunities that exist at WinterKids. For this event one must be outgoing, friendly, and knowledgeable about WinterKids.  If you are new to WinterKids but have a passion for promoting a child's right to sled, ice skate and snowboard, this opportunity could still be for you.  WinterKids offers an orientation prior to the Fall Sports Weekend to educate volunteers about their agency's activity.
