City of Aurora Volunteer Center
Volunteers provide critical support to City of Aurora programs by enhancing the services provided by city employees. From working with kids and seniors, to translating for the police and ushering at live theatre performances, the city of Aurora is the place to volunteer!
Description:
Volunteer opportunities are available in the following programs: Court Administration, Fox Theatre, Aurora Center for Active Adults, Aurora History Museum, Police Department, Library, Boards and Commissions, Community Relations, Morning Star Adult Day Program, Neighborhood Services, Original Aurora Renewal, Parks and Open Space Department, Probation, Recreation, Teen Court, Television Services, Water Conservation and Victim Services. We also have a variety of special events, including KidSpree and Pumpkin Fest, that engage hundreds of volunteers.
