Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Become the friendly voice of the Arthritis Foundation and an integral part of helping the Rocky Mountain Chapter Office succeed in its mission! Volunteer in our main chapter office will support the staff in all areas of the organization with tasks like: answering telephone calls; greeting visitors; data entry for our programs; assist in mailings; build relationships with community stakeholders; provide literature to those affected with arthritis; inventory and many other projects. Volunteers should be personal, professional, organized, motivated and reliable. Previous office experience is helpful and computer skills are desirable. We are looking for help in the chapter office for at least one, 2-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will attend an Arthritis Foundation volunteer orientation where they will gain a general overview of the Foundation, its programs and general information on arthritis, treatments and resources. Volunteers will also receive training on using the phone system, donor database and other pertinent systems.

Volunteers should be able to assist in the office at least two hours per week at the same time and day each week, that is good for both the volunteer and the Foundation.
