Arts Center At Killingworth
There are two arms to The Center's mission: To showcase artists from outside the Shoreline area, as well as enlist local artists to teach, exhibit, and perform - furthering their reach into the community.
Description:
The Center supports amateur and professional artists by organizing exhibits and concerts, staging theater events, and offering classes, camps and workshops for children and adults. We need volunteers to help at our larger events and camps, as well as assist in putting together our community mailings 4-5 times a year!
History:
Founded in 2003, The Arts Center at Killingworth is a nonprofit organization focused on the development and presentation of the visual and performing arts on the Shoreline of Connecticut. The key to growth for The Center has been its developing programming - from one small, free Origami Workshop in the Spring of 2003, to the current variety of visual programs and performing events.
