Barbara Miller's I Have A Friend Youth Center

The I Have a Friend Youth Center's Mission is to provide programs for inner city children and their families that reinforce family values and enhance each child's potential. Programs are designed to improve academic performance and heighten social awareness and individual responsibility.

Description:
Children ages 6 - 12 come to do homework, arts & crafts, and take field trips. The children are taught community service is a part of their lives therefore they give back to the community by visiting Water's Edge Health Care Center once a month.

History:
The Youth Center started in 1992. It is a non-profit organization. It is open to all child within Middlesex County. The Youth Center is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
