The Middlesex United Way's annual Day of Caring features over 350 volunteers and 40 agencies throughout Middlesex County. On Friday, September 10th volunteers will take over the county helping local non-profits accomplish one day projects that can include indoor or outdoor work. Typically, volunteers are from professional and/or corporate groups throughout Middlesex County, however due to the high volume of projects we are looking to extend this opportunity to families, troops, neighborhoods and classes. If you are interested in participating please contact Allison Grady, Middlesex United Way, at 346-8695. Volunteers must be in a group of at least 4 and must sign up by September 1. If you are an interested agency, please note that agencies must provide any necessary supplies and give all volunteers lunch. The deadline for agencies to sign up is August 20. |
