The Ancient Studies Institute aims to make the ancient world and its insights accessible to people now.

Description:
The institute provides language and literature courses and fosters research dealing with the ancient world. Current research projects include ancient Greek grammatical terminology and nonviolence in the late Roman empire.

History:
The institute was established in 1998 by Paul Emile Anders. It has offered dozens of courses in Greek and Latin language and literature. A current research project is "Lactantius and Nonviolence."
