Key Responsibilities: Conduct and manage the course in a classroom setting. Ensure that students understand and can perform components of the course. Administer the certification test and document participants and course records.
Qualifications: Interest in people and the ability to work well with volunteers and paid staff. Knowledge of the Mission, Fundamental Principles, history and services of the American Red Cross. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide quality customer service and to demonstrate course components. Acquaintance with teaching techniques and tools provided by the Red Cross. Ability to work well with young people. Professional appearance and manner. Bi-lingual Spanish/English a plus. Training: Orientation to the American Red Cross Fundamentals of Instructor Training Babysitting Instructor Training
