Key Responsibilities: Work with Safety & Preparedness staff to determine class schedules and prepare classrooms for the courses- includes laying out appropriate number of manikins, participant workbooks and other supplies as needed. Responsible for washing and sanitizing all CPR manikins after each class and assuring that all manikin parts are reassembled, packaged and shelved appropriately. Inform Safety & Preparedness staff when course materials and manikin parts need to be ordered. Assure that all Safety & Preparedness classrooms remain orderly and organized. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Interest in people and the ability to work well with volunteers and paid staff. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide quality customer service. Ability to work independently. Overall mobility and ability to stoop, crouch, lift (50 lbs.) and push. Knowledge of general office protocol, procedures and equipment. Professional appearance and manner. Bi-lingual Spanish/English a plus. Training: Orientation to the American Red Cross On the job training as necessary
